Acura & OEM Acura Wheels

October 21st, 2010

If you look at Acura cars back then & Acura cars now, you’ll see that they’ve gotten better… MUCH better. The very first generation of the Acura Legend looks a lot like the Honda; to me – but then again, this is the luxury brand to Honda.

Acura has been in the U.S., Canada, & even Hong Kong since the March of 1986. The only real reason that Acura was introduced to the U.S. market was because Japan urged & almost forced voluntary export restraints for the U.S. market – therefore, it presented an opportunity for most Japanese manufacturers to export more expensive cars.

All expensive cars need really nice OE rims to go with it, right? Okay, so if you compare the Acura wheels from back then & the Acura rims from now, you can see a HUGE difference. I mean if you look at the 1994 Acura Vigor wheels & compare them to the 2004 Acura RSX rims, you can see how far our “styles” of ordinary factory wheels has come – you know what I mean?

Have a GREAT day,
Mykalanne.
