So, the factory original Acura MDX rims & the Acura MDX car is known as the Honda MDX in Japan AND in Australia. It’s a midsize luxury crossover SUV that’s manufactured by Acura. This car was the first SUV to have third-row seating; I guess you can say that it’s related to the Honda Pilot .. just that the MDX has OEM Acura wheels on it.
When the first generation came out, it had a four wheel drive system that was supposed to help you when slippage was detected. It even has a lock mode that can be turned on and be used when you’re traveling low speeds; it gives you a permanent 4WD. It was designed to help the driver go up steep hills & get out of stuck situations.
I think that the second generation is the best; I mean, have you seen the 2009 Acura MDX rims on it? Those wheels alone make me want to buy the car. The second generation was completely redesigned and introduced on October 17, 2006. The body has a wider track and a longer wheelbase.
