Isn’t the Excursion Huge? And Aren’t The Ford Excursion Rims Big, Too?

April 8th, 2011

We all know that the Excursion wastes a lot of gas – but that’s no problem for someone who loves the car and the original Ford rims that come on it.

The Factory Ford Excursion rims go on a full-size sport utility vehicle that’s made by Ford. It was made for the model years of 2000-2005 and up to 2006 for those who live in Mexico. It’s based on the Super Duty pickup truck platform and it served as Ford’s largest SUV in its SUV lineup! I guess that can explain why the 2005 Ford Excursion rims are so nice and so big!

Since it was classified as a heavy-duty vehicle, it didn’t have the best gas mileage; but what else can you expect from a heavy-duty car? The very last Ford Excursion and the very last set of Ford Excursion rims were made on September 30, 2005 at the plant Ford has in Louisville.

What do you think?
