Okay, so there’s a certain type of Ford wheels that are called Ford Transit Connect wheels & they go on the Transit Connect – obviously. It’s an all-electric vehicle that was released in 2010 with OEM 2010 Ford Transit Connect wheels.
The very first person to make regular use of a battery electric vehicle was Bill Ford – he was considered a top industry executive. The battery was on a Ford Ranger EV. At the same time that this was happening, the company contracted with the United States Postal Service to deliver electric postal vans based on the Ranger EV platform.
Ford then discontinued the line that they had of electric Ranger pickup trucks and ordered them destroyed… even though it was reversed in January 2005… after an environmentalist protest.
