I think that the T-Birds have always been categorized as classic cars with classic OEM Ford wheels; & in this case, Classic Factory Ford Thunderbird wheels.
It has more than eleven model generations ranging from 1955 through 2005 – that’s a lot of cars. When it came out and when it was finally available to customers, it created the market niche eventually known as the “personal luxury car.”
The convertible models of the Thunderbird were available from the second to the fourth generation models. They were designed and looked a lot like the Lincoln convertible that came out at the same time. The convertible models now still have that classic look but with the fancy Original Ford wheels – like the 2005 Ford Thunderbird wheels.
