History of EL Wheels & EL Rims
The Acura EL was introduced in 1996 and produced until 2005. Like its predecessors, the Acura EL was assembled and distributed from Alliston, Ontario, Canada and it ended up replacing the Integra sedan in the Canadian car lineup while it was still being sold in the United States. In fact, this model of Acura was the first B-segment luxury car ever sold in Northern America. An interesting fact about the EL model of Acura is that it made up a HUGE 51% of Acura Canada’s new vehicle sales the first year it was out on the market. The standard wheel for this model of Acura was the 5-spoke, 15 inch alloy wheel, the exception of which was the Base model EL that came with a set of 15 inch hubcaps with 15 inch steelies to match!
