The Oldsmobile Silhouette advertised as a 3 0r 4 door mini van and it was meant to be compared with the Pontiac Trans Sport and the Buick Terraza. This model was on the market from 1990 through 2004 and it has two generations attributed to its name, the first from 1990 through 1996 and the second from 1997 through 2004. Some of the changes made to the Silhouette throughout its history include adding steering wheel mounted controls, enlarged brakes and power sliding doors. Also standard with this model are its 3.4 L V6 engine, 4 speed automatic engine and 16 inch alloy Silhouette Rims and Silhouette Wheels.
