History of Saturn Rims & Saturn Wheels
Saturn was producing cars from January 7, 1985 to October 31, 2010 and was considered a subsidiary of GM. Many of the ‘newer’ Saturn models released were equipped with Factory Original alloy rims / aluminum wheels. There were some Saturn models that were equipped with steel wheels; they just had full hubcaps to cover them. Saturn Rims Finishes
When Saturn made their big debut, they worked hard to ensure that their Original Rims for their different model vehicles had the best finishes. The most used finish on the Saturn Wheels is the argent or silver finish, closely followed by the machined / brushed aluminum finish and last came the polished and chrome finishes. Keep in mind that some Saturn Dealership would send the Silver / Argent Saturn Rims to be chromed after market. Due to this fact, some car owners mistankenly assume their Saturn Rims and Saturn Wheels are factory original.
