Information On Factory Infiniti FX Rims and Wheels

The Infiniti FX, sometimes called the FX35 and FX45 because of the two engine options, is a five door SUV created to fill the midsize SUV slot previously occupied by Infiniti's QX4. The most prominent feature of the FX is its unique design that has a large base structure taken from Nissan's Armada with a very "sleek" top half (i.e. window area) giving its profile a look sometimes described looking like a Scarab beetle. Originally equipped with either a 3.5 V6 engine or a 4.5 V8 engine the second generation debuted the first ever diesel engine in the Infiniti line as a 3L V6 turbo diesel that was available only in Europe. The FX successfully continues to produce its second generation.

Wheels on the FX are all 18", 20", and 21" alloy rims. The 18" rims were finished in silver or hyper silver with 7, 8, or a 5 double spoke pattern. Finishes on the 20" wheels included beige, gunmetal silver, chrome, hyper silver, medium silver, bright silver, and rich silver and 8 or 5 spokes. There were only two 21" wheels and they were finished in medium silver or bright silver with six spokes.
