The CLS class began production in 2004 taking for its inspiration the Mercedes' E class (or executive class). A Four door executive car, the CLS came as either a sedan or fastback and came with rear wheel drive. Engines on the CLS were V6 or V8, with its second and most recent generation offering a straight four cylinder engine that runs on diesel fuel, this is also the only generation that had an optional four wheel drive train and seven speed automatic transmission. The CLS continues production today.

Wheels for the CLS were mostly comprised of 18" and 19" alloy rims with machined and silver finished (as well as silver with a machined lip). Exceptions to this were only steel rims 17" and 18" with painted finishes. Spoke patterns had 5, 5 split or 5 triple spokes, withe one seven spoke rim.
