You probably see Custom Wheels everywhere, right? And you probably think to yourself, “Well, what’s the big deal?” & “Why are they better than my 2009 Mercedes GL Class Rims ?”
Well for one, they’re in most of the music videos that are out today; and you know that everyone wants to be like someone famous whether they admit it or not. Secondly, they actually do improve some cars: performance and appearance wise.
See, there’s usually two types of cars that you’ll see with a set of custom wheels:
—Competition-oriented, since racing cars need the light weight of the wheels to go faster.
—Appearance-oriented, since everyone wants their car to look flashy.
