OEM Wheel Hardware?

July 22nd, 2010

I have no idea about you, but when I think of hardware; I just think of the wood, tools, & stuff that you get at places like Home Depot or Lowe’s… too bad that’s not the hardware that we’re talking about here.

The equipment & tools that attach the wheel to your car is overlooked most of the time whenever someone installs a new set of OE 2003 Honda Elements wheels… or whatever wheels you may have. If you just so happen to purchase a set of any aftermarket rims, you’re going to need different bolts from the ones that came standard on your car when you first bought it. As we already reviewed, the 3 most common bolts are acorn, ball, & mag shank.

Since there are more than 3 bolts, this can make it very confusing for people to install the new wheels on their vehicle, but just try to do your research, okay?

Hope this helps,
Mykalanne.
