Not Park Ave.; Buick Park Avenue Wheels & the Park Avenue

January 13th, 2011

I bet there probably is a “Park Avenue” in different cities, but that’s not what we’re talking about.

The Park Avenue – along with their OEM wheels – were made by General Motors, under their Buick division.  There were two different generations of the Park Avenue that were manufactured here in the United States until about 2005. Two years later, in 2007, the nameplate was revived on a separate Buick sedan that was build by the GM in Shanghai – it was meant for the Chinese market.

The second generation was the one with the fancy 2005 Buick Park Avenue wheels on it. The Park Avenue didn’t really change until about 2003; that’s when the Buick wheels changed and so did everything else. It changed for the better though, right?

Which generation do you prefer?
