If you were to ask me, I don’t think that the Intrepid or the Dodge Intrepid wheels had a long run – do you?
The Intrepid was “mechanically-related” to the Chrysler Concorde, Chrysler LHS, Chrysler New Yorker, Eagle Vision, and also the 300M sedans; but they had completely different Dodge wheels on it. The design of the Intrepid can be traced back all the way to 1986, when Kevin Verduyn completed the initial exterior design of the car. The actual design that he made never went past the “clay phase.”
I think that both of the generations look pretty much the same, just that the second generation and the 2003 Dodge Intrepid wheels are much nicer.
What do you think?
