The Volvo trademark Holding AB is equally owned by a company called AB Volvo and Volvo Car Corporation. So they all pretty much have the same name, but not really. The main job & activity of the company is to own, maintain, protect and preserve the Volvo trademarks. This means that anything with the Volvo name on it has to be protected – even the OE Volvo wheels that come on your car!
