You don&#8217;t want them to come off while driving! That would be&#8230; bad, to say the least. Unfortunately, manufacturers decided to make wheels with several different styles of lug nuts. Why does it have two different part numbers? Well, 69395 uses shank\/mag style lugs, and 69418 uses acorn\/tapered style lug nuts.\u00a0Otherwise, it&#8217;s pretty much the same wheel! Near the top of both of them, they have a flat part on them called a washer, which is what helps them stay on the wheels compatible for them. If you tried to replace these with acorn lugs&#8230; well, they&#8217;re not going to fit properly, and they could fall off, as I&#8217;ve mentioned earlier. These are used for wheels that have tapered seats in the lug nut holes.<\/p>\n<h2>Lug nuts that accept lug nut caps<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/lug-nut-that-accepts-cap1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10850 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/lug-nut-that-accepts-cap1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"322\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/lug-nut-that-accepts-cap1.jpg 428w, https:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/lug-nut-that-accepts-cap1-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a lug that&#8217;s technically considered an acorn.\u00a0This particular type of lug nut, however, can accept a lug nut cap, which is just another way you can further customize your car! It&#8217;s threaded on the inside to hold the wheel to the vehicle, and threaded on the outside to hold the cap to the lug nuts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>As we&#8217;ve already stated, there are many different kinds of lug nuts, but here are a few common ones!
