Sometimes, this is a simple task&#8230; but it can get a little complicated, too. This is part number 71749A &#8211; a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/acura-wheels\">2004-2005 Acura TLX wheel<\/a>. Can you tell how many spokes it has? &#8230;Don&#8217;t worry, it&#8217;s not a trick question! You&#8217;re correct if you said 5. A <em>spoke<\/em> can be defined as any bars that come from the center and connect to the edge of the wheel &#8211; and this one clearly has 5 of those bars.\u00a0Wheels like this are pretty simple when it comes to figuring out how many spokes they have.<\/p>\n<p>However, this is not always the case.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-1.16.12-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-10893 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-1.16.12-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 1.16.12 PM\" width=\"194\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a>This is part number 74323: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/lexus-wheels\/\">2015-2016 Lexus RC-F rims<\/a>. This one looks a little more complicated, but it&#8217;s not too difficult. This one kind of looks like it has spokes that cross over each other, or branch off into two spokes. On our website, we list it as 20 spokes, because we count each individual bar. Some people may see them as being sort of a Y-spoke shape. If that were the case, then they would call it 10 Y spokes.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see a wheel that IS identified as having Y spokes on our website.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Y-Spokes<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-2.42.15-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-10894\" src=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-2.42.15-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 2.42.15 PM\" width=\"188\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-2.42.15-PM.png 286w, https:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/Screen-Shot-2016-07-28-at-2.42.15-PM-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 188px) 100vw, 188px\" \/><\/a>This is a factory original <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/ford-wheels\/\">2015 Ford Mustang rim<\/a>. Its part number is 10035. As you can see, it clearly has spokes that look like the letter Y; 5 to be exact. On our website, it will be listed in the description as being a &#8220;5 Y Spoke&#8221; wheel. These are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/minicooper-wheels\/\">2014 Mini Cooper Clubman stock rims<\/a> &#8211; part number 59499A. These can be described in a few different ways. On our site, they&#8217;re labeled as being &#8220;7 Double Spoke&#8221; rims.<\/p>\n<p>But, it can also be said that they have 14 spokes\u00a0if you count each one individually. In the first picture &#8211; part number 64211 for the &#8217;96-&#8217;99\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/isuzu-wheels\/\">Isuzu Trooper and Rodeo<\/a> &#8211; it&#8217;s described as having a web design. However, you can see that there are 10 holes or slots in the wheel design, so we made sure to include that in the description as well. The second and third OEM rims\u00a0have some pretty funky designs. The second is part number 6527A for a &#8217;97-&#8217;00 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/pontiac-wheels\">Pontiac Grand Prix<\/a>. The third is part number 4501 for a &#8217;90-&#8217;92 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/cadillac-wheels\">Cadillac Fleetwood<\/a>. They both seem to have a lot of little spokes, don&#8217;t they? In order to save everyone a little bit of time, we labelled 6527A as just having a web design, and the 4501 is described as having a laced design. Maybe it&#8217;s just me, but I wouldn&#8217;t even know how to begin counting all those little spokes on 4501&#8230; they seem to intertwine and merge together and just go all over the place. It looks cool though, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Hopefully, this gave you a little insight on how to identify the spokes on your rims!
