It sounds like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/buick-wheels\/index.php\">Buick wheels<\/a> would be coated <strong>THREE<\/strong> times just so they can get the shine that they have! But I\u2019m sure that\u2019s not it.<\/p>\n<p>The Buick Trishield is actually rooted all the way back to the ancestral coat of arms of the automaker\u2019s founder &#8211; David Dunbar Buick. The crest that was displayable was a a sort of red shield that had a checkered silver and azure diagonal line that stretched from the upper left to the lower right. This was the logo that was on the center caps of the factory original\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/buick-wheels\/century.php\">Buick Century wheels<\/a> and I believe it was on the grille as well.<\/p>\n<p>In 1960, I guess people at Buick decided that it got so old that it needed some updating. The single shield was replaced by a trio that was colored red, white, and blue. As of now, the logo is a bit more \u201cupdated\u201d on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/buick-wheels\/century2005rims.php\">2005 Buick Century wheels<\/a>. \u00a0The trishield enjoys its even more distilled \u2014 and emboldened \u2014 monochrome form.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #d3532b;\">What do you think about the logo on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/buick-wheels\/index.php\">Buick wheels<\/a> ?<br \/>\nMykalanne.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you hear the word &#8220;trishield&#8221;, doesn&#8217;t it make it sound like it&#8217;s something that was used back when people were fighting with swords?
