{"id":1627,"date":"2011-07-18T11:15:08","date_gmt":"2011-07-18T18:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/?p=1627"},"modified":"2016-05-19T11:29:31","modified_gmt":"2016-05-19T18:29:31","slug":"bmw-k-1-bmw-wheels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/blog\/bmw-k-1-bmw-wheels\/","title":{"rendered":"BMW K &#8211; 1 &#038; BMW Wheels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know it\u2019s an old car, but since I love OE <a href=\"http:\/\/www.originalwheels.com\/bmw-wheels\/index.php\">BMW wheels<\/a> so much (especially the ones on my mom\u2019s car), we\u2019re gonna talk about their lovely motorcycles.<\/p>\n<p>This motorcycle was manufactured from 1988-1993 &amp; is considered to be <em>\u201cSport Touring\u201d<\/em> class. It was meant to totally revolutionize the motorcycle industry &amp; media. It\u2019s based off of the BMW K100 &amp; was designed to give you comfort even when you\u2019re going 150 MPH .. but who wants to go that fast? It has a seven-piece glass fibre edifice &amp; was combined with a stiffened chassis.<\/p>\n<p>To be completely honest, the reason why it had such a short manufacturing period was because it was kind of expensive, produced a lot of excess heat, &amp; kind of messed up the reputation for all future BMW motorcycle models.<\/p>\n<p>If you have one, you\u2019re a trooper; if you\u2019re one who thought of buying it but never did, give yourself a pat on the back.
