Sorry I haven’t been blogging! My dog recently had puppies & I had to stay home with her! I know you guys were dying<\/em> to read my blogs, huh? Totally kidding. Well let’s get to the point, shall we?<\/p>\n

There is no doubt that your OEM Alloy Wheels are prone to get rusty over the years.. But oh well, you just have to deal with it & try to clean it the best you can. So I\u2019ve researched some steps to help you rid of those ugly stains.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Let\u2019s look at the Jeep Liberty rims<\/a> ; if you notice, I\u2019d say about half of them are machined\/brushed aluminum, which means that they are more likely to get white stains (which are the rust stains). Here are some ways to get rid of them, or make them less noticeable:<\/p>\n

\u00a01. Buy a rust remover that\u2019s safe for your aluminum wheels.
\n2. When you work in the liquid, make sure you follow the instructions on the back of the bottle; don\u2019t think you know how to do it if you\u2019ve never done it before.
\n3. Let it sink in to the rusted areas for a decent amount of time.
\n4. Brush the rusted areas of the rims with a nylon scrubber.
\n5. If you got the stains out with Step 4, then don\u2019t read this one. But if you still have some sort of white-ish stain, use a steel wool scrubber until it comes off. Don\u2019t apply too much pressure because you\u2019ll eventually make deep scratches into the aluminum.
\n6. Rinse the wheels with water to remove all of the remains of the rust remover; then wash with soap & water.
\n7. Rinse it again, then polish them (:<\/p>\n
