Do You Oversteer Your Mercedes Wheels?

July 21st, 2011

Hopefully you don’t – hopefully you don’t even know what oversteering is.

If you really want to know, I’ll tell you. Oversteer is when the back of a car moves around a corner way faster than the steering wheel will turn the front of the car. So .. your factory Mercedes wheels are going to be totally off beat with the way you want to steer.

In some really bad cases, the car and the wheels on the car will spin in the opposite direction that you originally wanted to go in. If the road surface is covered in things like rain, ice, or snow, this is going to increase the chances that you and your Original Mercedes rims have of oversteering. Even if you and your rims are driving at a slow speed, you can oversteer by turning on a sharp or slick icy road. If this does ever happen to you (but hopefully it doesn’t), you can always call us at 1-800-896-7467 & we’ll be sure to provide the best service so that way you’re not frustrated with anything else.

Be safe!
