It all started in 1989 – this was when the Infiniti brand & OEM Infiniti wheels were introduced to the United States. Their main marketing strategy consisted of targeting the premium vehicle segments in the United States that would not have otherwise fit in with Nissan’s more mainstream image.
The Infiniti brand was made at around the same time as Toyota & Honda were making up their Lexus & Acura brands.
Originally, the Infiniti had been released with the Q45 – the car was then based on the all new second generation JDM Nissan president. Now look how nice the Infiniti rims are!
