Information On Factory Honda Pilot Rims and Wheels

Honda's Pilot, or MR-V as it was called in the middle east, began production in 2002 in an effort to appeal to the American demand for SUVs. The Pilot was the largest vehicle Honda had produced up to this point although it was technically only a mid size 5 door SUV. Originally only available with four-wheel-drive the option for front wheel drive became available in 2006 along with minor superficial changes and a few safety changes. The second generation was available in 2009 and the Pilot was recently updated in 2012.

Wheels on the pilot are alloy and steel 16" and 17" rims along with a single 18" alloy wheel with 7 double spokes and chrome finish. There was only one 16" steel rim with painted finish and 5 spokes and two 17" steel wheels with 5 spokes finished in silver or black. The remaining alloy wheels were machined or chrome finished with 5, 6, or 10 spokes.
