Yes, I think that the Nitro looks like an upgraded version of a Jeep model… but with OEM Dodge Nitro rims. It’s categorized as a compact SUV from the Dodge division of Chrysler with original Dodge rims. It’s not a big surprise that the Nitro shares the platform with the Jeep Liberty… or is it?
The Nitro first made its debut at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show – it was presented as a concept car that featured an aluminum themed interior design. There were aluminum-trimmed vents that were placed behind the front fenders and other parts of aluminum placed in different parts of the vehicle.
Speaking of aluminum, have you seen the 2009 Dodge Nitro rims – alloy rims – that come on this thing? They’re pretty nice (:
