The Chevy Celebrity was a midsize car whose production began in 1982 and was available in 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan, and 4 door station wagon body styles. The Celebrity was built on Chevy's A body platform and was offered with 4 and 6 cylinder engines along with a diesel V6 engine. Both automatic and manual transmissions were available for the Celebrity. A notable accomplishment of the Celebrity is that for the 1986 year it was the best selling car in the United States; despite this success, the Celebrity only ran for a single generation when it was replaced by the Chevy Lumina after its discontinuation in 1990.

During the Celebrity's production only 14" steel wheels were offered except for two 13" steel wheels- one finished in silver with five spokes, the other with 18 holes and painted finish- and two alloy wheels, both 14", one rim finished in several colors with 5 twin spokes, and the other rim finished in grey or white with five spokes. The remaining rims were all finished in paint while the designs varied from 20 holes to 5 spokes.
