Information On Factory Jeep Truck Rims and Wheels

The Jeep Truck that began production in 1971 was a successor to the Jeep Gladiator and was actually more of a second generation, with very few changes besides the name switch became simply the Jeep Pickup in 1971 and internal designations changing from J2000 and J4000 to J10 and J20 in 1974. Available with straight six engines, V8 engines as large as 6.6L, however, were available. In 1988 when Chrysler bought out Jeep, the model was no longer produced but the truck was still sold using Jeep's Comanche as its car. Chrysler decided to stop Jeep's truck production since it directly competed with Dodge and by 1992 Jeep's truck was gone.

Wheels on the Truck are mostly 15" but do include a single 16" steel rim with painted finish and a 16.5" steel wheel for dual rear wheels. The remaining rims were both steel as well as aluminum alloy and were finished in chrome, gold, silver, or machined with between 5 and 12 spokes.
