Information On Factory Land Rover LR4 Rims and Wheels

The LR4 began production in 2009 and was actually the fourth generation Discovery that in markets outside of North America was called Discovery 4. The five door SUV, takes many of its cues from the previous generation (the LR3) but differs slightly in some superficial aspects (such as a new grill and different headlights) but had several big mechanical changes that included all new petrol engines that included a smaller V6 engine (by a whole liter of displacement, the LR4 came standard with a 6 speed automatic transmission but had an optional 6 speed manual transmission available. This fourth generation Discovery continues production today.

LR4 rims were exclusively 19" or 20" alloy rims with the only steel wheels offered as compact spares. The two 19" alloy wheels had either silver or sparkle silver finish and 7 or 14 spokes. The three 20" rims were finished in either hyper silver, machined with black accents, or silver and had ten twin or 5 twin spokes.
