The Audi V8, named after its engine configuration, is a 4-door luxury sedan that was in production from 1988 until 1993 when it was replaced by the A8. The V8 came standard with many luxury features such as heated seats, first aid kits in the armrests, BOSE audio system, wood trim, and leather seats. These standard luxuries on such a popular car upped Audi's public image and helped define how Audi is still seen today as a luxury car producer.

During the V8's production Initially only 15" wheels were available including a silver finished 6-spoke alloy rim, a machined finished rim with diamond spoke pattern, and a painted finish steel wheel that was the only steel wheel offered for the entire production of the V8. In 1993 the V8 offered a 16" silver finished, 5 spoke alloy rim, which was the only option if you are looking for a wheel that is not 15".
