Information On Factory Jaguar S-Type Rims and Wheels

The S-Type was a retro styled four door saloon with a front engine, rear wheel drive layout. The Jaguar S-Type nameplate was revived in 1999 after the disappearance of the S-Type beginning in 1963 that was discontinued in 1968 and was the inspiration for this vehicle. Built on Ford's DEW98 platform, the S was available with either a V6 or V8 engine with displacements ranging from 2.5L to 4.2L and was offered with a choice of automatic, semi automatic, or manual transmission. In 2008 the S-Type was replaced in the Jaguar lineup by the very similar FX.

Wheels on the S-Type ranged from 16" to 19" and were exclusively alloy rims. The only 19" rim was an alloy wheel finished in hyper silver with 5 twin spokes. The majority of the remaining alloy wheels were finished in silver but also included hyper silver, champagne, or machined finishes and had spokes patterns with 5 to 25 spokes.
