Information On Factory Jeep Compass Rims and Wheels

The Compass is a four door SUV that, although produced under the Jeep moniker, lacks many of the qualities generally associated with the Jeep brand. The first crossover vehicle offered by Jeep (followed shortly thereafter by the Patriot), the Compass is built on a global platform created by Mitsubishi and Chrysler that is most likely responsible for depriving the vehicle of key Jeep style and features, most notably the lack of the "trail rated" badge. The Compass has been available with only straight four cylinder engines that come as either Diesel or Petrol fueled; all engines are mated to a five speed automatic transmission that can be used optionally as a manual transmission. The Compass continues to produce and since 2011 as a trail rated Jeep.

Rims on the Compass are all alloy except for a single 16" steel rim with painted finish. There were three 18" alloy wheels finished in cladded chrome, silver, or black with a machined lip and had 5 or 5 double spokes. There was also a single 17" alloy wheel with 5 spokes finished in silver.
