Information On Factory Mercedes 560 Rims and Wheels

The Mercedes 560 was part of the S-class (coming from the german word Sonderklasse for special class) range that functioned as the Mercedes flagship model. Beginning production in 1985 two different variants of the 560 (a number that refers to the vehicle's engine- a quite large (though not unreasonable size at the time) 5.6L V8) the SEC that was a coupe body style and the SEL that was a four door sedan with a long wheel base, the standard SE model was not available in the US or Australia. As Mercedes' top of the line vehicle (with a flagship body shell and a whopping 5.6L engine- outdone only by the 6.9L 450SEL) the 560 was available with a myriad of luxury options along with several optional upgrades that included the Torsen and Koenig variants that boasted of changes such as a manual transmission or other mechanical alterations. In 1991 both the 560SEL and the 560SEC were discontinued.

Only a 15" alloy rim was available on the 560 and was finished in silver with 15 spokes.
